How far in advance should we book Lazy Mountain Acres for our wedding?

We recommend booking 12 to 18 months in advance to secure your preferred date, especially during peak summer season.

How many guests can you host?

Our 40’ x 80’ timber pavilion seats up to 200 guests for dinner and dancing, or 300 standing, with a built-in dance floor and dedicated bar area.

Is there lodging on site?

Yes. We offer on-site accommodations, including the Bridal Suite for getting ready, residences, and RV and campsites, so your wedding party and guests can stay for the whole weekend.

When do the peonies bloom?

Our peonies bloom from mid-July through August. If blooming fields matter for your photos, plan your date in that window.

What if it rains?

Ceremonies take place at one of three outdoor sites, and our covered timber pavilion keeps your reception dry whatever the weather does.

Do you provide on-the-day coordination?

Yes, our team handles setup and takedown for tables and chairs, and we work closely with your vendors to ensure your day flows smoothly.

Can you host other events besides weddings?

Absolutely. We welcome birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions, corporate retreats, and other private gatherings.

The bridal sweet was clean and they had a goodie basket prepared.
I still get complimented on the venue I chose for my wedding. The view is phenomenal!!
I will say peonies do not bloom in June for the most part (depending on the heat)
So if you want the peony background I believe it’s July or August they are in full bloom!

Married in July and all I have to say is… hands down the best wedding venue in Palmer!!! The staff and hosts were so accommodating and easy to work with! Great with communication and had everything we were looking for. Jessica, Cheryl and Barbara made our day so so special and I’m forever grateful for all the memories made. They have different venue options, so I would recommend exploring and choosing the one that fits you. We went with the amphitheater that overlooks the peony farm and it was just beautiful. They also have suites you can rent and stay the night of the wedding and after. It was super convenient! I will recommend to all of my friends and family.
