Duchesse De Nemours


A century-and-a-half after its introduction, the fragrant double Peony Duchesse de Nemours remains a standard by which all other white peonies are judged. Duchesse de Nemours buds green-white and opens into a beautiful white, bowl-shaped peony. As it matures the guard petals turn back to expose the crown of inner petals, all flushed with a primrose tint at the base.
