Lazy Mountain Acres is a gorgeous 39-acre wedding and event venue nestled between Lazy Mountain and the Matanuska River in Palmer, Alaska. Lazy Mountain Acres is a female-owned, Alaska Native-owned, family business, located just 45 miles from Anchorage.

This romantic setting consists of our terraced peony fields, planted with 2,500 peony roots of 14 different varieties, surrounded by flourishing wild forests, stunning mountains, and sprawling hay fields. Say your wedding vows at one of our three beautiful outdoor ceremony sites.

Host your reception of up to 155 guests in the hayloft of the renovated horse barn. The lower level features a Bridal Suite, four guestrooms, multiple bathrooms, and caterer’s kitchen. The wedding tent is perfect for our larger groups of up to 300!

In addition to the accommodations in the barn, there are two additional residences on the property that sleep up to nine guests each and are available for rent by the wedding party and their guests.
